Solar Grant Funding – Rain City Solar Services

Grant Preperation
USDA grant funding is limited. It is distributed based on the merit of the project and the quality of the application. Not every application for funds is approved. Rain City Solar has experience getting our projects funded. We know how to quickly prepare grant applications and optimize them for successful approval.

Rain City Solar provides the engineering, grant writing, experience, and project management services necessary to receive your funding.

USDA Connections
Rain City Solar has the regional USDA representative on speed dial. We have worked closely with our representatives in the past and have built a strong working relationship that helps our grants get approved. They respect our level of professionalism and quality of work.

Bank Connections
While any bank is eligible to participate in the guaranteed loan portion of the program, Rain City Solar has established relationships with banks that are interested in loaning money for REAP projects. This reduces the amount of time spent educating individual bankers about the details of REAP and speeds up the loan process.

Engineering and Energy Audits
USDA funded projects require a higher level of engineering and design than a typical residential project. Larger projects also require feasibility studies and energy audits as part of the application process. Rain City Solar employs licensed professional engineers who can perform the necessary energy audits and engineering analysis of your solar energy project and generate reports that meet and exceed the USDA requirements.
