Rain City Solar provides all of the equipment and the design, you provide the labor. A DIY Solar package includes the following services.

System Design

We design a solar PV system that fits your specific situation and budget. We inspect your existing electrical system to warn you of any potential problems or code upgrades you might be required to perform as part of your solar installation.

Engineered Plans and Schematics
|
Our solar designers and electrical engineers provide detailed drawings of your solar PV system that will pass inspection and also guide you through your installation. Roof layouts, wiring diagrams, meter location variance plans, you name it, we take care of it.

Solar Equipment
|
It is possible to purchase solar equipment yourself, but you will pay premium retail prices. We provide the panels, inverters, and mounting systems at discounted prices to help save you money. We also make sure you have all the extra little pieces you need to complete your project.

Installation Consulting and Technical Support
|
While Rain City Solar won’t be performing the actual installation, we will be coming out to your project site to spend some time showing you how to assemble your solar PV system. From tips on how to waterproof your roof attachments to how to wire your inverter, we make sure you have the knowledge you need for a successful project.

Incentive Paperwork
|
There is a lot of paperwork involved in collecting all of your solar project incentives. Our staff knows when and where to file the necessary forms to make sure the utility company approves your installation and lets you start earning money with your solar system.
